New Music Friday!

This week has been a busy week for music lovers with the releases of some highly anticipated new singles that are sure to be on everyone's playlist. From Cap1tal A's 'Paranoia / I'll Come Around, to Nia Archives' introspective 'Conveniency', there's something for everyone in this week's offerings. So sit back, relax, and let's dive in.

Nia Archives - Conveniency

Nia Archive's latest single 'Conveniency' showcases why I really admire her as an artist: her stunning voice and her ability to convey powerful emotions whilst being able to keep a positive and somewhat light-hearted mood. Her ethereal and angelic voice is the perfect fit for the lyrics, which depict a tale of unrequited love and the acceptance of heartbreak. The song is backed by dynamic electronic production that blends drum n bass with other elements, creating a sound that is powerful and unique. This new single is a must-listen for fans of British music and Electronic music in general.

Youngs Teflon - Ballon D'or

Youngs Teflon's new single 'Ballon D'or' is a triumphant reflection of his journey from the streets to success. His flow is smooth and effortless, with an opening line that sets the tone for the rest of the track. The music video showcases Youngs' new-found wealth, with expensive clothes and sports cars that he now has the luxury of owning. This single is a testament to his hard work and his tireless determination for success, and it's a must-listen from someone who has been among the best in London for many years.

Cap1tal A - Paranoia / I'll Come Around

Cap1tal A's new singles 'Paranoia' and 'I'll Come Around' are creative masterpieces, showcasing Cap1tal A's talent as a musician and lyricist. The production on 'Paranoia' is jazzy and reminiscent of Erykah Badu, with a touch of Skepta's style. The black and white scenes of the first half of their music video are captivating and add a truly timeless feel to the story. The video tells the story of a couple that is constantly on and off and depicts how fear and depression can cause relationships to fall out of sync. The video's transition from 'Paranoia' to 'I'll Come Around' is effortless, and 'I'll Come Around' cuts deep, making the listener reflect on their own relationships, making it my personal favourite of the two. Cap1tal A's message in these two songs is powerful and universally relatable, making them must-listen tracks. Overall, Capital A's new singles are a testament to his artistic prowess and make him sure to be one to watch over the next few months.
